Built for people who think in threads
ThreadCrumb exists because the internet doesn't organize itself — but your ideas deserve to be connected.
The problem
You find something interesting on Hacker News. A week later, a related paper shows up on Twitter. A month after that, a colleague shares a tool in Slack that connects both ideas. But by then, you've lost the thread.
The solution
ThreadCrumb captures every discovery across every source and preserves the provenance — when, where, and how you found it. AI enrichment connects the dots automatically, surfacing threads you didn't know existed.
The approach
This isn't a bookmark manager or a read-later app. It's a discovery intelligence platform. The core promise: never lose where an idea came from.
ThreadCrumb preserves the trail — the full provenance chain of how ideas flow through your digital life. That trail is the product.
Built in the open
ThreadCrumb is a solo developer project, built with care. The stack is modern (Next.js, PostgreSQL, Redis, AI) and the architecture is designed for both self-hosted and SaaS deployment from the same codebase.
